The Cabin No. 56 Gallery is a private and primitive 102 year-old cabin built sometime between 1914 and 1916 at the end of the East Fork of the Big Santa Anita Canyon in Angeles National Forest. It sits at approximately 3,300 feet and requires a 1.75 mile hike each way, in and out. You can only access the gallery on foot and guests must be in good physical shape to make the 45 to 60 minute journey each way.
We have secured TRAIL GUIDE services for all attendees, included with the experience. They will depart the trailhead at 12:30 PM with anyone in the group and return you safely to the parking lot by 7:00 PM that same evening.
You should plan on the experience taking approximately 5 to 6 hours, although you may attend at any time during gallery hours if you're willing to hike in and out without guides. The path is very straightforward and is easy to follow and detailed maps and directions are provided with your reservation.
Attire should be based on comfort for hiking and an instinctual awareness of the weather and the season.
